Designing a web page is a process which uses the concept, planning, creating a model to deliver the content online through web pages on internet using several technologies like PhP language or various scripting languages as required for the interpretation of the display in a web browser or other interfaces like web based graphical user interface which make web design graphics visible.

The idea for creating such web pages is create websites which is basically a collection of such web pages to create a creative content with various data present on various servers which may be present anywhere in the world. These web pages are forwarded to the end user as requested by the user through the web pages which contain text links or images in various formats. More complicated media such as videos, vector graphics, animations or sounds which are to be included using plug-ins like Flash or QuickTime or using java run time environments. These plug-ins are also included using HTML or XHTML tags.

Technically there are two types of pages that are being used by the web browsers which are
Static Web pages and Dynamic Web pages

Static web pages are collection of text as well as images which do not change without user updates the page. These pages contain numerous amounts of data and images which are there as links to other pages or without links just present there to makes the web page more appealing than just only text present on the web page.

Dynamic pages contain dynamic content which changes with or without any update from the user. These pages contain data in various forms such as animations or videos or in any other digital format.

Web design graphics play an important role in making the static as well as dynamic content of web pages more interactive as well as to provide a better interface to the user. Because the use of images or graphics makes a web pages more easy to understand and hence makes it easier and better for end user to make proper use of the page. Web graphics design is also important for creation of good efficient web sites which can also help the web site owner to get more click count on their web sites which means more earning.

Web design graphics also needs efficient knowledge of the content which is to be displayed on the web page, usability of the content which is to be displayed and then comes the appearance of the content in which comes the graphics design.

Graphics design is the process of designing graphics in such a way that the content looks good on the web pages as well as serves the purpose of the web pages. Graphics are designed keeping in mind the web page they are targeted to. For example if we have to create a link for activation for registration of a web site. If we only place the text on the web page it may not look appealing but instead if we use a image on which its written ACTIVATE NOW using a designed image then it will look good and the user will find it more easier to locate and also to use the link for the further browsing on the internet.

Graphics design basically comes in picture where we decide the appearance of the dynamic content for the web page. The graphics design is made after understanding the content of the web page and also after looking at the usability of the content on the web page. According to these two factors a picture is designed and also put the web page.

Use of graphics helps the owner of the web site earn more as most of the user on the internet are in a hurry and also want to get their required information easily, so it becomes easy to find content on a web page with images rather than a simple page with only text present.
